Sundial Bridge at Turtle Bay
The Sundial Bridge is a pedestrian bridge which spans the Sacramento River in Redding, Ca. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava, who also designed Turning Torso in Mälmo, Sweden which Erin and I visited last summer.
Bumpass Hell at Lassen Volcanic National Park
Bumpass Hell is the largest concentration of hydrothermal features in Lassen. There were still several feet of snow on the hike in (at over 7,000 feet!)
